Build an agile and scaled software infrastructure to respond to different flows of information. Manage heavy and constantly updated data volumes, making information easily accessible to end users and managed by administrators.
Critical aspects.
One of the most important aspects was related to the customer’s request: to create a structure that could support a sustained traffic generated by a rapid increase in users.
The second (no less complex) was related to data simplification and optimization: the aim was to obtain a system capable of analyzing the various information coming from different sources (sensors, weather data, user input, etc.), aggregating them into a single output.
Our solution
The backend infrastructure and the management (both admin and user profile) have been completely redesigned and redesigned, dividing the architecture into independent sub-components capable of communicating with each other with greater flexibility. The system has been set up on Amazon AWS Cloud services, to ensure greater stability and reliability. The heart of the solution is represented by an algorithm, which correlates and analyzes all the data, and learns on the basis of use, thus improving the accuracy of the forecasts made and then provided.
Thanks to the design of a dashboard (mobile and web) with a modern and intuitive graphic interface, users can have a complete overview of the data, organized to be easily readable and usable.
Advantages.
The Idroplan system allows a substantial saving of irrigation water (thousands of liters). The software is highly customizable according to the needs of each farm, and allows you to configure the installed lands and sensors, planning interventions through the IdroController app, created specifically for installers. The infrastructure of the AWS Cloud facilitates access even to the heaviest data with minimum traffic to the IT infrastructure.
